Metalastik Rotoflex® Couplings Vibration Isolators

The Metalastik Rotoflex Coupling consists of a regular polygon of rubber with metal inserts bonded in pos1tion. It can have 4, 6 or 8 sides. After moulding, the rubber elements in the coupling are compressed by the fitting of a steel retaining band. This important design feature ensures maximum fatigue life. The retaining band is discarded after assembly. Metal interleaves bonded into the rubber elements provide increased torque capacity when required. Rotoflex couplings have proved highly successful for motor car propeller and half-shaft app1ications for auxlliary drives on road vehicles and for many industrial drives.

Features:
Accommodates large angular and axial displacements with minimum resistance.
Reduces torsional vibration and noise.
Absorbs torque fluctuations.
Replaces mechanical joints, eliminating lubrication and metal.to-metal wear.
No servicing required.
Unaffected by dust, grit or moisture.

Novibra SAW Features:

Novibra SAW mountings consist of a cylindrical shaped rubber section with integrally bonded interleaf metal plates bonded to two square heavy duty outer metal fixing plates. Designed for large compressive forces with minimum deformation, while providing low shear stiffness rates.

The combination of a stable low installation height, high compressive strength and low shear stiffness makes Novibra SAW a versatile high performance anti vibration mounting. Ease of installation due to 4 clearance holes in each fixing plate.

By connecting 2 Novibra SAW elements in series, i.e. one on top of the other, an increased isolation efficiency is achieved in both shear and compression planes. Where larger deflections are required in the vertical plane, Novibra SAW mountings are mounted at a calculated angle configuration to provide the optimum spring rate.

Novibra SAW mountings are commonly used in forestry applications as well as in the crushing industry.  The Novibra SAW mount is designed for rugged, heavy applications to protect against shock loads rugged terrain for your application.
